Tim Smith is the founder and principal designer of AVAZZIA technology. His past major accomp-lishments at Texas Instruments include but not limited to:
Invented the premier logic product line (Low Power Schottky) which is now an integral component for nearly every major computer system, telecom system and military system in the western world.
Recipient of the Patrick E. Haggerty Innovation Award, Texas Instrument’s highest honor.
Linear Control Circuits and CMOS Logic start up.
Tim’s innovations touch the lives of billions of people around the world every day, as systems utilizing Tim’s inventions can be found in the Smithsonian, in all modern telecom systems, computers, the Space Shuttle, military fighters such as the F-14, F-15, the B1 and B2 bombers, and Boeing/Airbus airliners.
His current passion is the design and development of cutting-edge medical technology to address major healthcare concerns of the modern world.
Benjamin Soong has been with Avazzia since its inception in 2004, working with Tim Smith and Tammy Lahutsky to ensure the company’s medical devices are the premier products on the global market.
Benjamin has 25 years of experience in the financial services field including the Internal Revenue Service and as a senior vice president with an investments firm in Taiwan. Benjamin earned his undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Public Administration, both from University of Texas at Arlington. He is a CPA and a member of the American Board of Forensic Accounting
Benjamin manages Avazzia’s international sales and distribution as well as sourcing materials for its devices, which are manufactured in North Texas. Soong has a deep understanding of acupuncture and other Asian health practices. He is an avid exercise enthusiast.
Dan Stoll
Director, Business Development
Dan Stoll, Director of Business Development for Avazzia, has more than 15 years of management experience with medical device companies including Essilor, Alcon, CooperVision, and Chase Medical. His experience includes corporate-level and plant-level responsibilities for business development, manufacturing, operations excellence, and program and project management in the medical device environment. He holds Lean Six Sigma, ASQ, and ABOC certifications. He is an excellent strategic and tactical thinker and change agent.
Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in a military family and lived in a multitude of locations, including France, Germany, and throughout the United States. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and served in the US Army Infantry in Korea and Germany earning Airborne and Ranger qualifications. He enjoys traveling to new and foreign locations. He met his wife, Patricia, and settled in Dallas. He is active with his daughters’ school and sports activities. He is an avid health and exercise enthusiast.
